It started with sand.

In the car. On the floor. In the sheets. And a heavy towel I was tired of carrying.

I’m Marcela. On a trip, I discovered microfiber towels: light, quick-dry, brilliant… and so plain. I fell in love with the idea, not the towel. So, I researched fabrics, tested them on my own beach days, and chose denser, higher-quality microfiber, the kind I wanted for my own family and for yours. Then I designed towels for real life, with a different design on each side and a matching bag to carry it.

Real life kept teaching me. My phone kept disappearing in my bag, so I added a zip pocket. My towel flew off my chair on a windy day, so our new collection comes with an elastic strap. I dried my hair with my Kaiola instead of cotton: soft, fast, no frizz. That became our Hair Towel.

Then I wiped my kitchen counters with one, using only water, and they were spotless. I wanted to know why. Microfiber strands are finer than a hair: they grab dirt, grease and bacteria and hold them until you rinse them away. It’s why many hospitals clean with it. That led to our waffle towels: cleaning towels for kitchen and bathroom, and bath towels that dry fast and stay fresh.

Kai means ocean. Ola means life, and in my native Spanish, a wave.
